It has been a busy year and it's only April.  I'm finally posting the rest of the Kawaii Kids paper dolls from December.  I've been working on more in that line, too, and you can see them on my paper doll blog.  I also have some fairy tale dolls I'll be posting.

Life gets busy and sometimes I forget about dA.  I have a whole bunch of new stuff that will be going up soon.  For my most recent work, check in with the blog: paperdollschool.blogspot.com/.

December is a crazy month for me! There are two birthdays in my house, Christmas (with my kids, my extended family, my husband's extended family - all on different days!), and, finally, friends come over on New Year's Eve.  So I like to load up my paper doll blog with a month of daily downloads.  Most of those are made super far in advance so that I can just put the blog on autopilot.  Last year, there was a black & white fashion doll with a new outfit every day.  This year, I have a new kawaii-inspired kid doll every day.  There's a boy and a girl with a different themed outfit each day.  They are black & white - perfect for coloring!  I'll be posting them throughout the month and I'll post a PDF on the blog at the end of the month.  Til then, I hope everyone has a happy and healthy holiday!

I love Halloween so today I posted some moveable dolls/ paper toys to print and play with.  There's a free file with each to go ahead & print, as well as a premium file.  I'm still working on porting tutorials over from my paper doll blog, but things have (obviously) been busy for me this year! Some of you may have seen it already (because seriously, it's like the only thing I talk about these days), but I keep a paper doll tutorial blog.  On it, I go over the various methods I use to create paper dolls.  A lot of these techniques could apply to other types of art - and I have used these for other types of art myself - but I wanted to focus on paper dolls.  I decided to format and post these tutorials here as well.  I have four up, and many more to go.  I'll get them posted as I have time.  For now, you can see my paper doll blog for all of the lessons if you're impatient

Also, I know I don't take the time to say it often enough: thank you.  I really appreciate everyone who looks at my art, faves it, watches it, etc.  I sometimes feel like I missed my chance to be a "serious" artist and it means a lot to me that so many people appreciate my little projects.

I've sort of put the blog on auto-pilot for the month of December.  It's a crazy busy month for me so I loaded it up with a black & white doll.  In the meantime, I put all the Fashion Friday paper doll downloads up here as well.  Feel free to download & print them.  Prints are also available if you want a higher quality copy.  Have safe & happy holidays
